  1. Danica is out of her SHR ride and Almirola is out of his RPM ride at the end of this season.

Almirola’s RPM sponsor Smithfield foods moves over to sponsor SHR.

RPM is looking for a replacement sponsor.

More indication that the big money isn’t going to the drivers anymore, thanks to NA$CAR’s perpetual greed catching up to them and the fans exiting the sport as NA$CAR put their lust for corporate money ahead of their interests and likes.
NA$CAR’s corporate cash cows have now begun to turn on them because NA$CAR gave them exactly what they had wanted which drove away all of the traditional fans who were the vast majority.

    1. There appears t be a saga about the RPM/Smithfield split, I think Richard Petty would be prudent to close his mouth and not make statements against Smithfield
lest he scare away other possible sponsors. Even a driver with a sponsor in his pocket might be put off by that kind of fight.

          1. WOW.
            Lots of poop flinging there!
I’d take Petty’s word over Smithfield’s any day.
Their bitching about his lack of on track performance sure makes it appear that they’re guilty as charged?

    1. Sparkle pony is gonna put her efforts into making her own whine then drinking lots of it.

(Yes, I spelled it whine on purpose.) 😛

I wonder if her boy toy Little Ricky will still be with her?

  2. That was best race for Team 88 all year. Sure, the finish wasn’t great, but it came because of a possible race winning move that just didn’t pan out. I can take that. Travis Mack is much better when it comes to adjustments and communication. Sounded a lot like Letarte to be honest with you. This is the type of race that we’ll miss next year. We haven’t had one this year until tonight.

    1. Dale Jr said same thing .. I saw a sadness in his face, or perhaps regret.. Im sure he realized what Greg has cost him this year.. Hope Travis gets a chance to show his abilities this year….

Dale JR was relevant for the first time this year…

      1. Ives was a champion maker in the Nationwide series with Chase, but he clearly isn’t Cup series talent.
Thank you Travis Mack for showing us that.

        1. I’ll say this. Greg may be a good crew chief, but he’s certainly not with Dale. They just can’t get on the same page. They don’t have good chemistry together. HMS should have just kept Greg and Chase together and promoted Jason Burdett or Kevin Meandering to crew chief of the 88 in 2015.

  3. 13th wow , what a race jr did a great job racing , like that , with travis , on the box , now we need to steal a win , with 10 races to go …

  4. i say a great job by travis mac , he did good , and we know now greg isnt worth a good shit , jr raced ,and contended for the win , and a gamble was close , but didnt work but still a great job …

Lap 300: @DaleJr is still P7. He says he still needs help in the center and has “had a harder time keeping the LF connected to the apron.
