I heard on Twitter (take that however you will) that Dale was four laps short on fuel. Jimmie was five laps short. Jimmie ended up being 1.5 laps short. Like I said, Dale is better at saving fuel than Jimmie. I go back and forth on it. Jimmie did have over a three second lead on Austin Dillon and he had to give about all of that back in order to just get to 1.5 laps short. Dale didn’t have that, so I don’t know if he could have saved as much under those circumstances. Though, I feel, if Steve was the crew chief, that he would have told Dale to starting saving with 30 laps to go instead of 20 like Jimmie. I don’t know.

This is some funny shit right here. This is obviously total bullshit. If you weren’t sure, then I would really hope that the photo where his face was photoshoped onto the body of a super muscular man would be a dead giveaway.

I’m going to sound like an asshole here, and I’m happy that he got a Top 10, but I’m puzzled by them not going for the win there. They had nothing to lose.

Because his car wasn’t nearly fast enough to get the win?

I meant going for it on fuel mileage. He was running ahead of Austin Dillon there. He’s better at saving fuel than Jimmie, too. Seemed like a lost opportunity to me.

IMO Alucard…..Steve is no longer around, Greg doesn’t think like that, Greg is a follower, not a leader and Junior has said ” Don’t let me run out of gas….ever “.. Junior has no idea about such…..he thinks like Greg: details ……not risk takers

I have to admit that I thought, “Steve would have gone for it,” as it happened.

Steve used to piss me off on occasion but I agree he would most likely have gone for it last night. He at least was capable of strategic thinking.
